Moments in time....

Today as I was driving home my mind started wandering and as usual I starter thinking about mom and how very much I miss her. Then I got to thinking of how thankful I was to have so many great pictures of my mom. My sisters take pictures but like most people they only pull out the camera for Birthdays or Holidays. I never seem to put mine away. I actually have more everyday life pictures than I do Holiday pictures. To me it is very important to catch those simple moments and have them to look back on because as time passes those little memories seem to get lost.

My family gets tired of mom pulling out the camera but when they are older they will be thankful that I have so many memories saved in my pictures. They will be able to look back at these pictures with their children and tell the stories that would have been lost.

Because I am such a picture taker I have so many great pictures and I wanted to share a couple of my very favorites with ya'll today. The first one is of my puppy baby CoCo, it was just by chance that I took this picture and it is one of the funniest ones I have.

There is nothing better than goofing off with your best friends and your little sister getting right in the middle of it all! This is Kristin and her 2 best friends.

This picture was taking on vacation this year. I love how the water is arched over them and they are running like their life depends on it!
This one is my very favorite! It is of my girls and was taken at the beach this summer. I am going to have this one blown up and framed. The sun is just amazing!

And of course I have to add my very favorite of my mom. She is holding my Sydney and my Nephew Matt. They are 4 months apart in age. My Mother was never happier than when she was with her grand babies and having this moment in a picture is priceless. There will never again be a moment like this one!

Not having my mom here with me anymore is heart breaking but it would be so much worse if all the pictures I had of her were during Christmas. That the only moments I had of her was while she was opening presents. There is so many more moments and stories that need to be remembered! So today I challenge you all to take a random picture of a random moment in your house. Then share it on your blog and let me know because I would love to see it.

As always Thank you so much for stopping by and I really hope you take a moment to enjoy today and all its moments!

  1. Fabulous photos, and thanks for the reminder to keep taking those every day photos and most importantly to get all the moms out from behind the cameras.
